Heya buddy! I’m currently writing a low fantasy story actually. But I’m still a bit afraid that it might be a bit too convoluted.
Basically the story follow two main roads with different characters who will end up teaming up to solve quite a big problem.
On one hand you have Daniel Tonq (French readers might get the pun), who ended up involved in a Cold War-like dispute between two companies which are influencing a parallel world.
That other world is a light medieval fantasy one, with magic and different races. In here, we'll follow different characters who are trying to solve a crisis in their own way as an all out we between three factions is brewing

What kind of stories? High fantasy? Low fantasy? I'd read some stuff in a Lovecraftian style. oooo~ mystery and cosmic horror!
Since I’m not really smart enough to create a whole magic system or ripping off RPGs with like mana point, I decided to treat it more like a psychic abilities and the more you understand the element you want to manipulate, the easier it is for you. Like, creating a fireball is way harder and more complex that it's tiring for the brain. But if you want to create a light breeze, it's child’s play.
To counter the "then why don’t they use magic to kill the bad guys?" by adding stones that cancel almost every magic spells within its area of effect.
