Seasonal Love
#1
I just want to say think you. By writing, little by little I am regaining bits of myself. For everyone that takes the time to read anything I write, it means a lot. I want to start putting myself out there more, but it gets hard for me. Anyway, thanks again for reading.

As the spring brings about the thaw
The flowers bloom to shine
As if called by your brand new radiance
My eyes follow to you.
Your embrace is refreshing
Like the springtime rains

Our love heated the summer air
There was nothing I wanted more than your burn
Our passion molten to the touch
I felt more alive with each passing second
Fires growing critical

The leaves began to fall and the air cool
A symbol of our ever changing emotion
The winds more harsh, the colors more dull
By the last semblance of life dead
You leave and I fall

Ice fills my senses now
The winter of our love surrounding
The fires once immeasurable a void
The sour taste for spring catches my tongue
Once again bitter for it
In the darkest moments, you find the light that has always driven you.
