I must admit I borrowed the central concept for this piece from another poet in this very thread. *Hug* for you. Hope you enjoy what I've done with it.
With sure, eminent poise she walks abroad,
Her gliding step and grace never altered,
By the roaring passage of a fierce van,
Nor a shout ringing out from stunted grove,
Like a cat she prowls making all curious,
Then at the sharp ring of a bell she turns,
To see the approach of her bad boy, good.
With sure, eminent poise she walks abroad,
Her gliding step and grace never altered,
By the roaring passage of a fierce van,
Nor a shout ringing out from stunted grove,
Like a cat she prowls making all curious,
Then at the sharp ring of a bell she turns,
To see the approach of her bad boy, good.
