I am fairly sure I know who "Lord of the Bants" is, other than that though, no. ^^
And I just think it might be, that specific teal is kinda close to white, maybe? And my eyes make sadface over that. Not sure.
Red text is cool!
Blue? Maybe...
Green is pretty sweet.
But I think it you're gonna stick to just one color, white is probably the best.
If you wanna make a clear distinction of where your story begins, with color. You can change the headlines.

Also, your style of writing kinda reminds me of JRR Tolkien. Very descriptive of the surroundings.
