Precisely. It's not necessarily that a mod believes you faked the screenshot, it's that if someone contests a warning or ban based on that alone, they could say it IS fake and we'd have no way of disproving it. With the logs present, we have a record that cannot be faked. Which is why I always tell someone, "If it's true and this is still recent, report it." That way, we can do something about it.

I hijacked your thread because the original premise was to complain about non-calls by a moderator. Which, had that been the only thing that happened in this thread, would mean the thread would have been closed long ago.

Discussions and threads evolve and I'm glad this one has because at least I've been able to help answer some good questions and shed some light on what can seem like arbitrary choices sometimes. On that note, I'm closing this thread and starting a new one. I'll post the link when it's ready.
