Though, finding out who the author has targeted with a poem like that is not equally difficult. Especially if you are on good terms with the author.Nobody has asked me who my poems are aimed at. Even if they did, I wouldn't tell them. If anybody already knows, it is because I have gone to them as a friend to discuss problems. But no, the great wise ER assumes we all love to dish the dirt on everybody to whoever asks! Err, no, some of us do actually have self respect. And respect for others. You point is null and void.

Do I not have the right to think it's disgusting of someone to claim they're being bullied when they make targeted poems, which as mentioned may lead to a herd?
So now you admit to targeting people intentionally? After complaining of other people targeting others? Hypocrite, yo!
And you say it is justified? What, and my poem about somebody who believes that they know me better than I know myself, simply because they are older, and telling them they are wrong, isn't justified? My poem telling somebody who was spreading lies about me in game to basically go fuck themselves, isn't justified? Anallee telling the person who abused her that she's leaving them because of how they hurt her, isn't justified? Sharp's poem about somebody making promises to him and then later breaking every single one, and calling them out on it, isn't justified?
And I think Sharp made it pretty clear that you can't blame one person if a mob forms of their own accord. I can post on here, if I want, that a specific person bullied me. Now, what people choose to do with that is their own decision. Unless I tell them to act in a certain way, or even suggest they do, then okay, shame on me. But no poems here name anybody. No poems here call on others to take action. No poems here call for people to rise up and bully somebody.
Everything has risk. The first time we met in-game, ER, you said something to the following effect: "(anonymous name) is too sensitive and thinks everybody is out to get him." By your reasoning, the fact that I hate every shred of your being is actually your fault. When you complained that I made a comment towards you about how you are, in my opinion, a despicable piece of shit, that was actually your own fault, because you made me hate you. If instead I had decided to believe your words, and had seen this other person, and made fun of them for being overly sensitive, then that would also be your fault. But I'm pretty sure you have actually denied all accountability for this. So again, you are just a hypocrite.
Oh, and if you think this is targeted, let me confirm that it is, with a quote: "Of course this is targeted, and it is justified as well, because it is the truth."
For the record, when I talk about the dangers the targeted poems bring - I am not talking about you.
Stop seeing everything I write as a personal attack.
The danger of the mob mentality is there no matter who writes it.
I don't blame you for hating me though, that's like.. your opinion. Though it has nothing to do with this thread. Hijacking?
Bringing your personal opinions about me in a thread about targeted poems is absolutely unecessary, mainly because I have not mentioned your name. Which is the same excuse as you are using for your poems. Wanna discuss who's being a hypocrite?
Now, get back to the thread and state your opinions on making targeted poems.
My opinion is that there's a risk of forming a mob mentality, even with without any names being mentioned.
It is also an unfair way of letting your "target(s)" know what you feel/think about them/her/him.
It is also unecessary, because you give the whole community a chance to get involved in a personal matter between you and the "target".
My suggestion: Set some guidelines for this type of poems, so we won't have to discuss whether it's a good or a bad thing.
