With sure, eminent poise she walks abroad,
Her gliding step and grace never altered,
By the roaring passage of a fierce van,
Nor a shout ringing out from stunted grove,
Like a cat she prowls making all curious,
Then at the sharp ring of a bell she turns,
To see the approach of her bad boy, good.

Perhaps we should trade them all for entertainment
And switch our revels to dance... are you then ready
To bring this to a new level of merriment?
 
This would be fair, because my heart harkens music,
Filled with joy and contentment because of her...
So I dance now, a grandiose waltz most majestic
The ballroom's illuminated, the crowd gather
 
And we swirl together, duet of love reborn
Happy, oblivious of the audience attending;
We dance until the rising sun of dawn adorn
The sky, and we elope away in the morning.

*reveals herself from the shadows* So here I am again, with new words of encouragement, but also rules to shackle your minds creativity. For a challenge would not be a true challenge, were it not challenging! *smirks* From this point onwards, things will only get more difficult, but I hope you all enjoy yourselves, for that is after all the purpose! *slowly melding into the shadows again, leaving only the echo of an amused laughter*

I don't know if anyone spotted it, but my first poem was Acrostic, so if you read the first letter of each line, you got "Poetry Slam Yo"! The idea was for us to have a small Poetry Slam of our own, perhaps without winner? But Hopefully we can have fun, and maybe sharpen eachothers minds in the process? ^^

A short informative description of the plans I have for this thread. From now on, we will be adding rules every now and then. I will start us off, by adding the first rule (Theme: MnF). Then in a day or two, another person can add another rule of their choosing, but also change mine if they wish. So perhaps the next person will add a rule of Style (insert style), but also change the Theme to animals for example. I will also try to keep my first post updated with the current rules, so that there may be no confusion over it.
