I was confused. Used a non prem with <50k to see but was only knocked back for lack of funds not because not prem. I did not want to transfer and have to get that back on pole.

Because there is not a premium logo. I was actually surprised but I thought: "They will surely add another bigger apartment just for premiums" (A lot of people are complaining that it's small). So yes, it's a jerk move

Exactly! I was gonna buy 50k with real money and than get fucked because right now I'm not premium!
I'm not angry because the apartments are just for premium (I actually expected it and I'm premium from time to time), I'm angry because they didn't put the premium logo on it!
I WILL buy the apartment, but probably saving MNF coins little but little since (for me) it's not worthwhile anymore to buy it with real money
BTW if they put the prem logo on it (without almost fucking me), my comment would've have been:
This update is awesome! I LOVE the customization a lot (they should to more of this stuff) and I can't wait to have enough MNF Dollars (and be premium again) to buy it!

hoi my prem just expired n i can still go n use my house sooo tht proves it i dont need to be prem to use the house i just need prem to buy it.

Probably when the fancier rooms get released we will see the ugly ones become usable for free users.

I like the apartments and the ability to customize, makes them a real asset to the game. The pricetag is reasonable as well for a permanent customizable room but it raises this question...
Is there any reasonable, non-exploity (totally a word) way to raise that kind of cash currently in the game (other than just dropping $50 of course)? I haven't done the math, but I'm sure if the numbers were crunched we'd find that even a perfect game of Glory Hole or Rodeo or the laughable shooting game, would take forever to raise the money it takes to buy one of these. I didn't include the Titty Slots because they work exactly like real slots, and are a money sink.
I really wish I would have stockpiled cash back when non-premium characters started with $1000, because I feel like the only way people have apartments now is because they had that money waiting, or of course, they bought it with real money in one way or another.
Should the minigames give more money?

The most profitable games, even if you are good at them and I’m not, won’t pay much more than $1500/hour: so it would take over 30 hours to raise $50k.
I am sure that you could make money in the Casino at the beginning: you just had to have enough money to play for long enough until a big win. Think that may have changed.
