I've been searching for something or someone
Lately I feel this void, this emptyness
This lingering, almost breathtaking, overwhelming sensation of not being enough, of being alone
But then, on a beautiful spring sunny day
I've met you for the first time
And as soon as you smiled
All my fears, all that doubt, you took it all away
We started seeing each other, once in a while
And each time, you got mad because I was either slacking off on my studies
Or I didn't bring you some treats
Despite all that, everyday I fell more and more in love with you
So I started visiting you everyday, sometimes twice a day
Because by now, I couldn't handle it
I didn't have the strength to fight without your smile
Your bright and hopeful eyes
