I'm bad at analyzing poems, but it was pretty. One thing had me wondering though. You say "I can't keep you away" at the end. Does that refer to someone who is loved, but also causes grief?

It's about someone I loved actually. I met this great guy, nice, gentleman like, but I was afraid to scare him away so I didn't tell him about it. Well he went away to university and we lost contact. I tried to go forward with my life after that, met other people but none like him. So he is away but I still think of him, still want him here hence the "I can't keep you away".

that's an important lesson to take Altaria, so many times we put other things in front of what really matters...and when we realize, there's no turning back! Keep the faith, sometimes life compensate us and give us second chances, just don't blow it if that happens.
