Mirrors - Anallee - 05-05-2016
Mirrors
She can deal with stress and heavy burdens.
She can comfort and console.
She can nurture and soothe.
She smiles when she feels like screaming,
and sings when she feels like crying.
She cries when she's happy,
and laughs when she's afraid.
Her love unconditional.
Her loyalty unquestionable.
Her devotion inexhaustible.
There is only one thing wrong with her.
She sometimes forgets what she is worth.

Thank you so much misslanni. Yes, the poem can definitely be interpreted as you did. And also, as did Willy_for_ Boobies *giggles whenever I see that name* suggests. I did intend that interpretation. I wrote this specific to one other and myself. For us. But I left it nonspecific to all others. There are several meaning in here. That you can relate to it is the highest compliment I can receive. Thank you for that and for your discretion the other night, something that is sorely lacking lately.
