I see your face in the mirror
You look back at me and smile
I hear you snarl as I get nearer,
Growling all the while.
With you I am a mighty beast
And all the world my sumptuous feast!
When I howl, my foes stop in their tracks
Or else I run them through with blade and axe!
None can put a halt to my attacks!
Without you I am but a mortal
Unworthy to cross this portal.
Battered, bruised and stripped of my command,
I cannot cross this line drawn in the sand
To face a peril I dare not withstand.
The time has come. I must address
The gauntlet you have thrown.
All the traits which you possess,
I must now make my own.
