For you, my hero, my love, my dad! - Simple Tania - 10-04-2017 I remember when in your shoulders you carried me I remember when holding hands you guided me I remember when in your hug you comforted me I remember when holding arms you delivered me And all the kisses you gave me And all the tears you've cleaned me And all the words you told me And even those that remained untold I'll never forget all the smells of the morning I'll never forget the stories told at the table I'll never forget the knock when you arrived I'll never forget your laughter on our tours And also all the teachings you gave me And also all the experiences you provided me And also all the jokes you told me And also all the reprimands I deserved I memorized every wrinkle of your expression I memorized the way your hand tightened on mine I memorized the cheerful tone of your voice I memorized the hazelnut colour of your deep eyes And of course, these past few days... All the hours spent by your side, Everything that you were and that was disappearing All the times I walked through those corridors, The high hopes I had that vanished upon seeing you The wrinkles were there, but not the expressions Your hand tightened mine, but the touch wasn't the same I heard your voice, but the cheerful tone wasn't there The hazelnut colour remained, but they were deeply closed And my tears fell down, but you couldn't cleaned them out!  Rest in peace my hero, my love, my... I lost my grandmother a year ago and I can sort of understand that, so here are my condolences and a special hug.
