During this past month I have to say I have not been myself, dealing with problems in my life and I have to say that at times I let those get the better of me, I am sorry and I do apologise to all that I might have offended. It was not my intention and by being in the game, having so many users in my Friends list but none of them, well... just a handful, really talked to me. I did decide to clean that list and removed most of the people in there based on how often we have spoken, I have to say that the reactions I got were something I did not anticipate, I was placed on Ignore by some and that being the "nicest" thing that happened. I will not go into details as this is not a means to shift blame on others.
What I want to say in the end is that I am sorry and hope that I will not act this way again, also I do believe that some people did had me in their lists just to ask about the game even when they have this wonderful community in here.

You walk into Bar Vodka on a cold Sunday night. Hello everyone,

The following installment is the fruit of nearly three weeks of sporadic, yet sustained writing. My previous posts were either narrative, lyrical or depressive in nature; this time, the tone is definitely whimsical.

I initially planned to write another poem with eight stanzas at most... and then creativity took full control and the "thing" swelled to monstrous proportions, as you'll notice below. I'm rather proud of the result, and I had great fun writing it; I hope you'll enjoy it as well...

PART I

Randy in Humpingland
 
On a bright summer day, for a stroll Randy went
To the orchard, seeking under the shaded trees
A cool spot away from the scorching sun. A bent,
Gnarled oak tree looked perfect to sit against with ease.
 
Soon Randy dozed, reclining, by the boughs sheltered
‘Til slumber most profound embraced him. Carnal dreams
Of erotic undertones seized his thoughts, and led
Him astray on oneiric paths of lustful themes.
 
“My, what a wonderful place”, he mused with longing.
Suddenly, a jackrabbit clothed in latex
Of scarlet hues leapt out of the bushes, crying:

Countless doors surrounded him; which one should he take?

Beyond the jamb, floral beds spread under the sky,
Blooms of riotous colors heaving and sighing
In a perplexing fashion; Randy wondered why
They shivered and moaned with nary a wind blowing.
 
Creeping close, he saw the blossoms’ carnal orgy:
Labia-shaped petals rubbing against each other
And their buds, sweating droplets of a clear, sticky
Fluid, whose odor triggered in his loins a boner.
 
Predicament momentarily forgotten,
Overcome with raw, burning desire, Randy

When I discovered this game I knew it would be something I would enjoy (the specific reasons why are for another discussion). But I did not really understand that there was a community of interesting people. I thought I could fuck my way through the world.


So basically all I did was try to have sex. When I realized that it gave XP which I could use to get more poses, I pressed even harder.


I was not sending unsolicited invites and I was not just sending "do me" PM's, but every other thing that seems to annoy the ladies of; I am guilty of.


1) Dropping all the generic opening lines: "Hello.", "How you doing", "What's up" and so on.


2) Sending a PM to every lady who had the misfortune to be in my sight.


3) Having boring conversations in hopes the lady just, for no reason at all says, "let's go to your room!"


4) Using corny pick up lines to get a laugh.




This had mixed results.
1) A polite response that was a rejection
2) No Response at all
3) A polite response that led to sex
4) A Raunchy response that led to sex
5) Some not-so-subtle, subtle insults
6) Place me on Ignore


By far, 1 and 2 happened the most. At first this seemed strange for a sex game, but I was young! 3-4 happened a lot less, but still quite a bit. 5 did not happen too much, but more than I expected. Finally, 6 happened rarely, but it did happen.


So apologies to all.


I started another avatar and plan on making myself part of the community and building up some friends, both men and women. Don't get me wrong, sex is still on the table, but that will come as I build relationships. There will booty calls, friendly talks, random hookups etc. so sex will not be the only things that controls my actions in the game.


As a side note, there was only lady who was very helpful. She dropped my some pity lays and her RP was awesome, showing me some things. (Don't know the etiquette of dropping her name) so thanks for that.


All in all I like the game, but still have a few things to learn.
